Gävle Järnvägsteknik can offer extra resources when needed! We have competent personnel in a wide range of professions, for instance we know how to plan and design railways and electrical systems, both power and signal systems.

We also have storage space with rails for warehousing of railway carriages and other space demanding goods, both for short and longer periods.

Gävle Järnvägsteknik plans, designs, constructs and maintains railway and signal systems. We have machines and specialist tools for lease. We perform railway inspections and railway related electrical installations. We also know how to budget your railway plant and establish investment plans.

Railway Inspection

Gävle Järnvägsteknik perform railway inspections and suggest solutions on all types of railways. We maintain your tracks on both short and long time contracts. Our inspectors are certified by the Swedish authority Banverket.

Electrical Grounding

"Jordarna" is our electrical grounding team which originate from the Swedish Railway Authority. The team was founded in 1997 and their initial mission was to meet the various demands when maintaining Railways. Since then the team has developed from performing traction line adjustments, Supervised Electrical Groundings, soldering assignments and trussed pole grounding to also include heating of change gear mechanism, repair and extension of cables, Electrical Supervising and more. To facilitate transportation of the equipment needed we have designed and built a container which fast and easy can be in place. We also have Mobile Equipment for urgent call outs and response. In excess of this we also document all work according to the customers needs and desires.

Railway Adjustments

With an accurate distance between running lines of the railway, your cost for the railway network will decrease! The machine has equipment to measure the current distance between running lines, if the line deviate the machine stops, lifts and adjusts the lines. The machine is also equipped with a side compressor for the embankment to increase the stability of the railway. It is possible to transport the machine on a heavy lorry.
